Fact sheets on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

Young people between 10-24 years constitute approximately one third of India’s population. In the coming years, India will have highest number of young people, which will continue to grow till 2050. Prevalent socio-cultural norms contribute in existing challenges of young people that are under nutrition, early marriage, early pregnancy, poor access to information and services related to reproductive and sexual health, sexual abuse and violence etc. These challenges need to be addressed urgently. Access to reproductive and sexual health information to young people in a local language is one of the important steps need to be taken to initiate the change. CHETNA is presenting a set of 14 fact sheets in Gujarati language on different topics of reproductive and sexual health like, growing up: changes during puberty, sexual and reproductive organs and their functions, safe motherhood, reproductive tract infections, HIV and AIDS safer sex, contraceptives, human rights, sexual and reproductive rights, sex and sexuality, gender based violence, etc. This set of fact sheets will prove useful to the Non Government Organisations and Government Organisations who are working for young people’s health and development. It can prove important library resource for the educational institutions.

My Rights, My Responsibilities- Learning to Teach Child Rights

This Trainers' manual aims to sensitize and enable teachers, trainers and NGO functionaries.
