Centre for Health, Education, Training and Nutrition Awareness (CHETNA) is providing a wonderful opportunity to work in Madhya Pradesh. CHETNA is initiating a project of “Empowering Women for Impacting Health and Nutrition Indices” in six blocks of Madhya Pradesh. The project aims to train selected Self Help Group Members of State Livelihood Mission in the area of health and nutrition. It is expected that these women will make linkages and advocate for the quality health and nutrition services accessible to their villages.

The implementing blocks are Amarpur & Samalpur (Dindori), Petlawad & Thandla (Jhabua), Manawar (Dhar) and Sondwa (Alirajpur) of Madhya Pradesh.

1. Post: Block Mentors for Madhya Pradesh.

Number of posts: 30

Qualification: Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Social Work. Undergone any special course on development after graduation in any stream.

Language: Fluency in written and verbal Hindi language

Computer skills: Efficiency in MS Office

Experience: One-two years of work experience in development field is preferred.

Roles: The Block Mentor is expected to implement project activities which include:
1. Training of members of Self Help Groups of State Livelihood Mission and Village Organisations in Health and Nutrition
2. Coordination with block level livelihood mission
3. Provide mentoring support to Self Help Group Members to work effectively at Village Level.
The Block Mentor is expected to extensively travel to the villages and block

Salary: The post is project based and CHETNA will provide learning opportunities to the candidate. The expected salary will be 15,250/- pm and Travel Allowance as per CHETNA’s norms.

2. Post: Block Coordinator for Madhya Pradesh.

Number of posts: 6

Qualification: : A first class post graduation degree in Social work, Rural Development Undergone any special course on Public Health, Nutrition and development after graduation/post graduation in any stream.

Language: Fluency in written and verbal Hindi and English languages

Computer skills: Efficiency in MS Office

Experience: Two-three years of work experience in development field is preferred.

Roles: The Block Coordinator is expected to implement and monitor the project activities which include:
1. Coordination with:
Block and District Level Livelihood Mission
Block Mentors and the State Coordinator
2. Coordinate and organise Training of Members of Self Help Groups of State Livelihood Mission and Village Organisations in Health and Nutrition
3. Provide effective guidance and mentoring support to the block mentors

The block coordinator is expected to extensively travel in the field and district levels

Salary: The post is project based and CHETNA will provide learning opportunities to the candidate. The expected salary will be 25,000/- pm and Travel Allowance as per CHETNA’s norms.

3. Post: State Coordinator for Madhya Pradesh.

Number of post: 1

Qualification: : A first class post graduation degree in Social work, Public Health, Nutrition, Rural Development.

Languages: Fluency in written and verbal Hindi and English languages

Computer skills: Efficiency in MS Office

Experience: Minimum five years of work experience in development field is preferred.

Roles: The State Coordinator is expected to implement and monitor project in 9 blocks of Madhya Pradesh. The activities include:
1. Coordinate and Monitor all project activities
2. Responsible for administration and accounts related tasks of the project
3. Coordination with other implementing partners
4. Coordinate with Ahmedabad Office, State and Block Livelihood Mission
5. Provide guidance and support to the team for effective implementation of the project
6. Network with local Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and Donor Agencies other then the project to generate more projects in Madhya Pradesh.
The state coordinator is expected to extensively travel in the state and project districts.

Salary: The post is project based and CHETNA will provide learning opportunities to the candidate. The expected salary will be 60,000/- pm and Travel Allowance as per CHETNA’s norms.
